The Thrivent Member Network Twin Cities Region is critical to the mission of Thrivent Financial, a fraternal benefits society with a Christian common bond. We focus on our members and our opportunity to help more Christians be wise with money so they can live generously. The result is stronger communities and changed lives.
LOCAL IMPACT
When Thrivent members come together to share their time, talents and treasures, something amazing happens! Communities are strengthened. Lives are changed. And the impact of their efforts creates a ripple effect of generosity.
Locally, Thrivent members have joined together to help families in need, support their congregations and make a difference right where they live, work and worship. Through our Thrivent Member Network, they’ve held fundraisers for causes they care about. They’ve organized service projects to help families in need and learned new ways to be wise with what they’ve been given. And their passion to help others continues to make an impact in nearly every corner of our wonderful community.

THRIVENT MEMBERS HAVE A HEART FOR HUNGER
Thrivent members & friends came together this year to raise over $150,000 to support Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities's Thanksgiving Food Distribution.
Thrivent members were invited to help raise food and funds through donation drives at open houses, Thrivent Choice®, member-led Thrivent Action Teams and more. Those who donated or hosted a Thrivent Action Team were invited to join us at the October 26th Gopher Football game, where we celebrated their generosity!
LOCAL MEMBERS HELP MAKE HOME A REALITY
Nearly 500 Thrivent members and friends came together in 2019 to help make home a reality for Twin Cities families.
Some groups worked on Thrivent Builds homes, while others volunteered in local ReStores - all working to support the mission and important work of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
MEMBERS' GENEROSITY MAKES AN IMPACT FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
Thrivent members showed their support for our 2019 partner organizations (Freedom Fishing Foundation, Loaves & Fishes, Simpson Housing Services, and The Dwelling Place) through our Daring Generosity Gala and #GivingTuesday campaign.
Members of the Community Engagement Team were able to deliver nearly $75,000 to these four organizations. These funds will help support the important work they do each and every day. Pictured here is Freedom Fishing Foundation, who will use the funds to continue to serve veterans in the winter months.

Make personal donations through an online giving platform offered in partnership with InFaith Community Foundation. Eligible members can recommend which enrolled organizations, from a list of thousands, receive charitable outreach funds through the Thrivent Choice® program.
