Member Benefit Generosity Spotlight: Thrivent Choice

Every year, members like you completely wow us by going out of your way for the causes you care about. As Thrivent Member Network – South Region – a local community of Thrivent members like you and for you – we’re here to help amplify the impact you make.

Through Thrivent Choice®, enrolled organizations can receive funding to help support their important work. The program allows you to make online personal donations and we will cover the processing fees so 100% of your donation goes to the organization you care about. And, if eligible, you can direct Thrivent Choice Dollars® to further amplify the impact.

However you choose to use your gifts, we’re here to help you make the most of them. Get started here

Be inspired by how our members are giving back and making positive change in their local communities!

Team "Lets Can Hunger" donated 633 food items to Sardis United Methodist Church Food Pantry

Give Thanks and Give Back

23 teams of 185 volunteers collected a total of 17,539 food items to bless 23 food pantries across the region registered for the Give Thanks and Give Back initiative that took place in the month of December where teams of members, friends and church groups are coming together to collect 500+ canned items to give to their local food pantry to then receive a $500 gift multiplier for the food pantry from your South Thrivent Member Network! Therefore, we gave $11,500 to the food pantries! Congratulations on your impact of generosity!

Birmingham, AL Thrivent Member serves student with new socks and shoes.

Samaritan's Feet: Generosity is an expression of faith.

Around 30 Thrivent members and guests came together to serve hundreds of Central Park Elementary School students in Birmingham, AL this February. As a title one school, a majority of their students have limited access to basic necessities that play a large role in success at school- such as school supplies, nutritious meals and appropriate clothing items that fit and are seasonally appropriate. In our partnership with Samaritan's Feet, we were able to bless these students with new socks and shoes as as a foundation to spiritual and healthy living. Thank you Thrivent for pouring into our local communities and providing hope for the next generation!
