Regional leadership
The Thrivent Member Network regional board is made up of Thrivent clients with membership. The board provides leadership and strategic insights to help carry out Thrivent's mission on a local level. Clients with membership can have a voice by voting in the elections for the Thrivent Member Network board.
Molander is passionate about finding ways to support children, economic development and education. Professionally, that passion led him to co-found LIDS Sports Group (now part of BSN Sports) to provide athletic apparel and equipment to schools and youth sports programs. Personally, he’s supported those interests as a board member for the 500 Festival and as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Through the board, he's excited to spread the Thrivent mission throughout the Mid-America Region.
Coley believes Christians should be the hands and feet of Jesus in a changing world. To that end, he took on the role of president/CEO of the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission in 2008. His passion is to help marginalized people find their voice, passion and purpose. As a member of the regional board, Coley wants to develop a strategic plan that will unite like-minded Christians in the region to create individual and community change.
Eric serves as Chief Executive Officer for Lexington Leadership Foundation as well as the Leadership Foundations Global Youth Initiative Director. He is passionate about seeing cities transformed into places of Shalom and has over 20 years of city ministry experience. He hopes to help the board find ways to spread generosity and a Christian message throughout the region.
Palm has spent most of his career working to understand human behavior and then using that knowledge to bring out the best in people. He has developed training and education programs and led a Cleveland Clinic Center program to help women make more informed decisions about their health and well-being. He currently is a senior vice president of 84.51°, a consumer analytics firm. As a board member he hopes to guide the local mission of Thrivent to maximize its philanthropic reach.
Our leaders work in the best interest of our membership––not third-party shareholders, like publicly traded companies. Clients with a benefit membership can vote in the annual election for the Thrivent Board of Directors. As the organization’s supreme governing body, the board focuses on serving the interests of the membership, both now and into the future. The board establishes and promotes Thrivent’s purpose and oversees major business decisions, and works with leadership to assess and manage risk.
