An important part of our philosophy at Thrivent Financial is setting the right priorities in life. Our families are key to our success as individuals, professionals and members of the community. That's why we take every opportunity to celebrate the people and places we love.
See what Steven and Jesse, two Thrivent Financial professionals, are doing with their families on America's birthday ...
"My wife and I, and our children and their families, like to travel to historical cities on the Fourth of July. Our favorite place to go is Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. We have learned so much about the beginnings of America and have grown to appreciate what our country has become. Thrivent could be a case study on The American Dream by the very nature of our beginnings and where we are today.
I feel working at Thrivent has allowed me to pursue my goals and dreams that my family may not have been able to achieve. Like these vacations to celebrate the Fourth. Planning for big events is something I always talk about, especially in retirement planning. Trips and events are about being together. I try to encourage my clients to plan ahead and work toward memorable new experiences."

"My wife and I love to celebrate the Fourth with friends and family. As a veteran, this holiday is important for me and my fellow veterans.
I've also started inviting neighbors to our annual BBQ. Mainly because I don't know them as well as I should. Of course it can be expensive to add more people. But we do what I tell my clients to do: Save for the Fourth of July like you do any other holiday. Pick a comfortable amount and set it aside each paycheck."
– Jesse, Washington
Thrivent Financial professionals have a lot to celebrate with our family-friendly culture and the freedom to build entrepreneurial careers.
